In Yamhill County - Oregon's Wine Country

The city of McMinnville combines the best of both worlds – small-town community spirit and amenities usually found in larger urban areas. Located in the heart of Oregon's leading wine region, McMinnville and the Willamette Valley is home to two-thirds of the state's vineyards and more than 200 wineries. It has been recognized as one of the premier Pinot Noir producing areas in the world.

The city proper encompasses 10 square miles and includes a vibrant downtown, several parks, a municipal airport and the Evergreen Aviation Museum - home of the Spruce Goose, the world's largest propeller-driven airplane built by the famed aviator Howard Hughes. The Wings and Waves Waterpark and the Yamhill Valley Campus for Chemeketa Community College are recent additions to this growing community.
